The online collaboration and task-sharing platform has disclosed that it is developing a variety of new site styles. It claims this will make using team sites convenient and more straightforward.

The new templates address numerous crucial milestones for all businesses. The most prominent ones include; sites for your IT helpdesk, crisis communication team, and new employee onboarding team.

Microsoft 365 roadmap indicated that it is still in the development phase. However, it is expected to roll out in August 2022. Customers may be able to try out the new site layouts very soon. The new templates will be available to SharePoint online users worldwide.

The upgrade comes as Microsoft works to guarantee that all of its Office 365 apps provide the efficiency and productivity boost that users require as more businesses adopt hybrid working.

These features better voice for like Outlook and Word apps will allow customers to use their voice to dictate documents, emails, and more.

The new tool is supported by SharePoint Online, Microsoft Teams, and OneDrive for Business. Administrators would be able to establish policies that will allow or deny communication between groups of users.

Using information barriers in SharePoint Online and OneDrive can prohibit unwanted collaborations such as adding a site member, accessing a site or material, sharing a site or content, or searching a site.

Following the recent price increases for Office, Microsoft is making sure with the string of improvements that users recognize the value of its services.
